The Problem

Industrial teams need multi-signal acquisition.
The tools don't keep up.

Diagnosing machines requires correlating many signal types — vibration, temperature, pressure, electrical. But available tools are either single-purpose or enterprise-grade and out of reach.

01

Single-Purpose Tools

Vibration-only analyzers, standalone power meters, isolated temperature loggers — none of them share a common timeline. Correlating a bearing fault with a thermal event or a power disturbance requires manual effort across separate systems.

02

Experts Are Scarce and Costly

A certified CAT III vibration analyst costs $150–$250/hour. Setting up an NI acquisition system from scratch requires expertise most teams don't have. Enterprise platforms require 6+ months of deployment and in-house specialists.

03

Enterprise Solutions Out of Reach

Enterprise licenses start at $50,000/year. Cloud SaaS solutions force proprietary sensors. Your production data ends up on servers you don't control — and none of these tools support balancing, commissioning or power quality in one package.

The Solution

One platform.
Every sensor you run on.

DaqExpert gives you a universal acquisition core on NI-DAQmx hardware, plus four specialized analysis modules — vibration, balancing, power quality, commissioning — all sharing the same timeline and the same report engine.

Operational in Hours

FAQ

Common questions

What is DaqExpert — is it only for vibration analysis?
No. DaqExpert is a general-purpose data acquisition platform built on National Instruments hardware (NI-DAQmx). Vibration analysis is one of four specialized modules. The platform also includes rotating machine balancing, power quality analysis, and machine commissioning — and at its core it can acquire virtually any sensor type your NI hardware supports: accelerometers, RTDs, thermocouples, pressure sensors, proximity probes, velocimeters, and more.
Which sensors and hardware are supported?
DaqExpert works with any sensor compatible with National Instruments acquisition cards: accelerometers (IEPE/ICP), proximity probes, velocimeters, RTDs, thermocouples, pressure sensors, position/displacement sensors, keyphasor/tachometer references, and any voltage or current channel your NI hardware exposes. Compatible hardware includes USB-6xxx, cDAQ, and PXI. If you already configured a task in NI MAX, DaqExpert picks it up automatically.
Do I need a vibration analysis expert to use DaqExpert?
No. DaqExpert is designed to be used by a standard maintenance technician or field engineer. The AI provides actionable diagnostics in plain language. ISO 10816 thresholds are pre-configured for common machine types. For advanced analyses (Campbell, envelope, balancing), a few hours of onboarding is sufficient.
How long does it take to get up and running?
Typically 2–4 hours: software installation, NI hardware connection (already recognized by NI MAX), task configuration, acquisition startup and signal verification. Subsequent updates are automatic in the background.
Does my acquisition data leave my premises?
No. Acquisition data (TDMS signals, analyses) stays exclusively on your local machine or internal network. Only anonymized information transits to our servers: software version, license heartbeat. These can be disabled entirely in the Enterprise on-premise plan.
Is ISO 10816 compliance included out of the box?
Yes. ISO 10816-3 alarm zones A, B, C, D are pre-configured for common machine classes in the Vibration Analysis module. Simply choose the machine type (turbine, pump, motor) and DaqExpert automatically applies the normative thresholds. You can override them if your machines have specific requirements.
Can I analyze data without the NI hardware connected?
Yes. The DataAnalysis module reads previously recorded TDMS files. All analyses (FFT, Campbell, envelope, spectrogram, orbit) are available in offline mode. Ideal for post-mortem investigations or working on data from another site.
